Emojify Me

A fun and exciting intro to Artificial Intelligence using Deep learning. In this camp we will teach computer to  classify human facial expressions and map them to emojis. Have one for each emotion you have!

Solution Topic

  • Non-verbal cues are integral part of today's online interaction landscape. Can you teach a computer to identify human emotions?​

  • Learn the basic of Artificial Intelligence
  • Intro to Machine Learning and Deep learning
  • Understanding CNN to train the model to understand emotions​

  • You will start with simple projects and progress to a fully functional and trained model for image recognition
  • Don’t worry you will not be coding all day. We have a fun week planned for you with lots of outdoor activites and field trip to augmentt your learning experience

  • This camp will visit a tech company or the company leadership will visit us for Expo
  • This camp may also have a topic related field trip


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Resilience: When young kids learn to code, they become problem solvers and develop critical thinking. With any problem solving, children have to stay with the problem long enough to find meaning solutions. Coding develops a child's ability to develop perseverance and resilience as they create fun projects.
  • Creativity: Code-it Hacks Inquiry and play based summer camps ensures that technology is used towards solving a real-life problem that is out of the box. Each camp demands students to engage in fun group-based activities to develop creative solutions all while having a blast with crafts and technology.
