In Unicorn Land Adventures, children step into a magical world where creativity meets technology. This Scratch-based game development and maker program blends early coding concepts with hands-on building, giving kids a playful yet meaningful introduction to computational thinking.

Participants design their own interactive, unicorn-themed games and animations using Scratch, learning how to create sequences, events, loops, and simple logic through guided challenges. Alongside digital creation, kids bring their ideas to life by designing and building a themed physical project, helping them connect on-screen thinking with real-world making.

Each session follows a creative design rhythm: children imagine a story or challenge, design their game or build, experiment with ideas, test and improve their creations, and proudly share what they’ve made. Instructors guide students step by step while encouraging independent problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

By the end of the program, children leave with:

  • Increased confidence in designing, building, and experimenting
  • A strong foundation in early coding concepts
  • A unicorn-themed maker project to take home
  • Original Scratch games and animations

Unicorn Land Adventures is perfect for young creators who love storytelling, building, and bringing their ideas to life through play-based STEM learning.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Resilience: Coding builds real problem-solvers. Kids face challenges, make mistakes, and try again. At Code-it Hacks Kids, projects help campers stick with tough problems, test new ideas, and celebrate progress, building confidence, perseverance, and resilience.
  • Creativity: Creativity comes alive through hands-on, inquiry-based play. Code-it Hacks Kids' Campers don’t just use technology, they invent, design, and solve fun, real-world challenges through games, crafts, and tech builds that spark imagination and bring bold ideas to life.
