We’ve taken 2 of our traditional spring weekend programs – PeeWee & Parents mini-camp and Dad’s & Kids Fishing weekend – and blended them into one. Families share one accommodation and introduce their 6-8 year olds to the fun of an overnight camp experience through the PeeWee program. PeeWee campers experience a full day of traditional camp activities with our program staff but get to stay with their parents in their family accommodation at night. It's all the excitement of camp with the comfort of parents close by.
Parents and children 8+ are free to join in the fishing fun all weekend. This retreat is perfect for novice or experienced fishers as staff are available for instruction and local fishing tips. Fishing not your thing? No problem! There’s lots to enjoy at Camp and families can also choose their own adventure in the relaxed retreat schedule.
Character Development: This program helps build the following traits
Independence: PeeWee Campers (6-8 year olds) experience a full day of exciting programs led by our staff. They learn that they have the ability to overcome the fun challenges they face through the day and gain confidence to return to a week of overnight camp on their own in the future.
Religious faith: PeeWee campers are introduced to the fun learning environment of chapel sessions where there is dynamic singing and actions as well as age appropriate Bible teaching.
