Do you love organizing, problem-solving, and creating experiences that feel magical? Or maybe you see the world in shapes and colors and dream of designing eye-catching visuals? This unique camp combines the creativity of graphic design with the behind-the-scenes excitement of event planning, giving campers ages 10–13 the chance to explore two dynamic skill sets in one engaging program.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of event planning, including scheduling, teamwork, and the logistics that make events run smoothly. They’ll get hands-on experience helping to plan and support camp-wide activities such as special guests, games, and Friday Showcases. Alongside these organizational skills, campers will dive into the world of graphic design, working with industry-standard tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create custom projects such as posters, ads, and visual branding for events.

Throughout the week, campers will:

  • Develop planning and organizational skills for real-world events.
  • Learn design principles and create digital artwork using professional software.
  • Collaborate on projects that combine creativity and teamwork.

The program also includes a well-rounded day with outdoor team-building games, recreational swim time, and a nutritious hot lunch in Appleby’s dining hall. At the end of the week, campers will showcase their event concepts and digital designs for family and friends during our Friday Showcase.

Whether your camper loves organizing or designing—or wants to try both—this camp offers a fun, supportive environment to build confidence and creativity.
