Hey tweens and teens! You can join Dawn Juruc of Romni Wools on Sunday mornings and learn how to knit! Get to know how to cast on and knit a variety of basic stitches. Once you’ve got the hang of it, you’ll be on your way to knitting plush and cozy winter accessories! Make them for yourself and have the skills to keep making them for your family and friends. You’ll have fun sharing ideas with others in the class and have help along the way to creating your customized accessories. Enjoy this fun and practical class! All materials are included but students are permitted to purchase their own yarn according to their taste if they prefer.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together and work towards a common artistic goal.
