Learn to draw with fun and colourful oil pastels, chalk pastels, conte, ink, and develop skills in pencil drawing techniques. Crosshatching, pointillism and shading projects will open your window of creativity and pave the way to creating more dimension in your drawing. Examples will be provided in a spectrum of styles to educate and keep the creativity flowing in this info. rich fundamentals class. All materials are included.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together and achieve a common goal while fostering a sense of community and mutual respect.
