    Who are you as an organization?

    At Luminara Academy, we cultivate the life skills that AI can't replace through a meaningful, fun and engaging curriculum. With an intentional focus on building (in tweens and teens) social skills, leadership, critical thinking, financial and digital literacy, time management, communication, resilience and much more, we ensure young minds are equipped with the tools and strategies to successfully participate, thrive and navigate today's world and tomorrow's future!

    What do you do differently or uniquely well?

    "Our world is changing rapidly and tomorrow's leaders need more than just book knowledge. Therefore, our approach to education sets us apart in many ways:
    - Our curriculum is future-focused - designed to help students not only thrive today but also be ready for challenges of tomorrow.
    - Our founder's background of having worked in multiple countries infuses our program with a global perspective. Kids are prepared to thrive in an interconnected world.
    - Our interactive challenges ensure that the concepts taught are deeply ingrained and not just theoretically understood.
    - We introduce our students to real-world professionals who inspire and provide practical perspectives, bridging the gap between learning and its real-world application."

    Who are your staff and counsellors?

    "We have the highest standards for our facilitators, who undergo a rigorous selection process and background check. We bring in diverse staff that have the credentials and qualifications to work with kids. We also ensure that all staff are trained in first aid. Our Guest Speakers are esteemed professionals in industry with decades of experience in their field and stories to tell. "

    What do families need to know about registration?

    "Applications are open for Summer Programs and spots are limited.

    We have three programs available for kids aged 9+. We also offer individualized services and university application support services for our teens.

    Once you register through our website, you will receive a confirmation email with details on next steps and what to expect closer to the launch date. Payment in full is required upon registration. Our refund policy allows you to cancel registration up to 30 days in advance, subject to a payment cancellation fee. "

    More details about property: Our Essential Life Skills Program will be held at Centennial College Event Centre. This is a state of the art event facility with secure entrance and will include all meals and snacks for participants for the week.

    Welcome! As the Founder of Luminara Academy, my mission is more than just imparting knowledge. It's about equipping our young generation with the holistic skill set they truly need to navigate a rapidly changing world.

    Why are these skills so essential? In an era dominated by technology, innovation, and constant change, AI tools are commoditizing human knowledge and as a result, human skills are going to be front and centre now more than ever! Success is no longer based on just understanding STEM or mastering a foreign language. It's about developing emotional intelligence, adaptability, critical thinking, leadership and so much more. These are the tools that will allow our children to thrive, to lead, and to make impactful changes in their communities and the broader world.
