✍️ Animation 1 explores the 12 principles of animation with mini step-by-step projects designed to illustrate movement. Learn how to make a character blink (it's harder than it seems!), animate expressions on faces, and show transformation for a project inspired by the theme of metamorphosis. Demos will be done digitally using Krita, a free open-source program used by professional animators!

Projects: Blinking Eyes, Animal Tail

👩‍🎨 Animation 2 goes deeper into advanced techniques and principles, including animating a walk cycle, moving background, and an open project that offers students the chance to animate something of their choice! Demos will be done digitally using Krita, a free open-source program used by professional animators!

Art Intensives take place daily at 11:00am - 12:30pm and 1:30 - 3:00pm (EDT/EST) with a 1-hour lunch break.
