Pass It, Catch It, Shoot It .......Basketball FUNdamentals for kids

The Northern Kings Junior Academy is our program for new and developing players aged 4 to 12, helping young ballers learn the FUNdamentals of the game in an active and friendly environment.

Players ages 4-6 will focus on building confidence with 3 FUNdamentals of the game in our weekly "Pass, Catch, and Shoot" classes. Hammering home these fundamentals helps beginners focus on the 3 core skills needed for basketball and other sports while building a genuine love for the game.

Players ages 7-12 will participate in our "NK Jr Academy House League". This program is a great starting point for beginners, helpful for developing talent, and a bonus for enthusiastic players. Using a mix of skills and friendly competitive drills, we’ll turn your child’s interest in the game into a passion for the sport.

The NK Jr Academy is committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve, and in the lives of the children and families in our program. We believe that providing our youngest athletes with a solid foundation of skills, knowledge, and teamwork will foster the development of valuable life skills that can be carried forward as they GROW and MATURE.

NK Jr Academy sessions are open to players ages 4 & 12

Training will take place @thehoopfactory under strict Covid 19 protocols, featuring a full-sized NBA quality (cushion technology) hardwood floor built for increased performance and safety.

The Court design also features high school, FIBA and NBA 3 point lines along with 12 NBA regulation hoops, adjustable to 5 ft for players at all levels.
