What do you do differently or uniquely well?

"Study Circle offers expertly crafted material designed to surpass Ontario Curriculum standards. Our program focuses on enhancing mathematical aptitude, spelling (for junior levels), vocabulary building, reading comprehension, and writing skills, including electronic media writing. Oral communication, friendly debates, and mental math are core components. Students are evaluated for proper placement, and emphasis is placed on practice, weekly homework, and regular assessments. We encourage participation in math contests like Math Kangaroo, fostering a love and aptitude for math."

Who are your staff and counsellors?

"Since 2010, our grassroots organization has been dedicated to serving the community. We adhere to the Ontario curriculum and our experienced staff develop program designs, teaching techniques, materials, and methodologies to ensure the highest quality education."

What do families need to know about registration?

"At Study Circle, we believe in providing personalized education to each student. That's why we conduct an assessment before a student begins their classes. This assessment helps us understand the student's current knowledge, strengths, and areas for improvement. By evaluating their skills and abilities, we can tailor our teaching approach to meet their specific needs. This ensures that our students receive the most effective and targeted instruction, maximizing their learning potential. Our commitment to conducting assessments reflects our dedication to delivering high-quality education and ensuring the academic success of every student."

The Our Kids review of Study Circle

    our take

Study Circle is an unassuming, non-intimidating tutoring school. Kids who need a little extra help feel welcome here, where building a positive relationship between instructor and student is the first step. Confidence is built, even when kids are struggling in a subject, because of the encouraging and empowering environment. Following the Ontario curriculum, kids learn what they are learning at school, only bolstering their knowledge and skill base. Class sizes are small so kids get individualized attention. Schoolwork isn’t the only thing that is taught at Study Circle. Life learning skills are a part of the program, with kids learning time management, how to keep organized, disciplined, and on-task. There are even classes that help with financial management, something that really isn’t taught in school. Mental and emotional health is also a focus, with Study Circle offering online sessions that focus on yoga, meditation, and nutrition, as well as academics. Study Circle’s overall goal is to prepare kids for their futures and their comprehensive offerings cover all the bases.
