Performing Arts Camp at Shepherd Private Coaching is a great way to introduce your young performer to the stage! Stay up to date on themes or productions for summer camp by following us on social media! Each week of camp will either be themed around a well known movie, musical, movie musical or genre of music and performance, OR will be a full rehearsal process for a show. Campers will learn the basics of the stage, movement, vocal production and creating their scenes on stage. They'll spend all week learning choreography, scene work, blocking, music, to perform their final piece at the end of day on Fridays. Campers will also hone their crafting and design skills as they help to create and construct set and props for their performance.

Families will be invited to watch the open-air LIVE performance.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: Campers are encouraged to step out of their shells, create and play at things they've never tried before. This is the place to explore something new and make mistakes to learn and grow from!
  • Interpersonal skills: Campers are encouraged to be aware of one another in time and space while on and off stage. Connecting with their peers and communicating are key aspects of working on a stage.
