The Our Kids review of School of Rock Vancouver

Kids who want to see themselves up on stage, performing music for an excited audience, should start by checking out School of Rock Vancouver. The goal of this innovative program isn’t just to learn music, but to perform it. Kids will rock out with both one-on-one lessons, as well as group band practices each week. What’s really unique about this program is kids learn how to be part of a band, and that knowledge is priceless. Rock 101 is for the true beginner, but lessons quickly explode from there to the stage. The music teachers are highly-trained and experienced musicians, with a deep passion for music. Kids gain confidence quickly with respectful communication and rabid encouragement. The environment is fun with vivid colours, flashing lights, and of course, great acoustics. Camps and workshops run throughout the year with cool themes like classic rock rewind and best of the 90s and there’s something for all ages interested in learning music. It’s never too late to pick up that guitar.

The ultimate Rock Star Birthday Party Experience is here! Bring up to 8 guests and have fun learning to play different instruments and rocking' out on stage! SAMPLE SCHEDULE The party is scheduled to provide a fun experience and photo opportunities within a two hour window! 15 mins – Welcome, Tour, Set-up 75 mins – The Rock Star Party Experience! 15 mins – Photo Op On Main Stage 15 mins – Cake / Presents in Student Lounge WHAT’S INCLUDED? • Two School of Rock Staff / Instructors for the duration of your party to help engage your guests and keep things organized • Use of the student lounge as a waiting area for parents, and for cake / presents • A small fridge to store your cake if needed (Please note our fridge is very small and will not be able to accommodate large cakes. Hello there!

My name is Mike and I'm the Owner & General Manager here at School of Rock Vancouver.

The School of Rock is a performance based music education school where our goal is to get kids, teens and adults up on stage, having fun, and performing! For myself, it's incredibly inspiring to watch students come into our facility with excitement, eager to start lessons, and really enjoying playing their instruments! We've designed the school with vibrant colours and decorations, making it a fun place for students to hang out and be part of our music community. School of Rock is really one of the coolest places to learn music!
