Introducing NEW Rooks to Cooks FREE ONLINE COOKING VIDEOS!  

Cooking Videos lovingly prepared for children and parents by the amazing Rooks to Cooks chefs!

Rooks to Cooks has been working hard to come up with a way to keep families cooking and kids engaged during this challenging time. After countless hours of preparing and filming they are super excited to announce: The Rooks to Cooks Lunch Club.

What is the Lunch Club you may ask? From Monday, March 23rd until Friday, April 3rd, Rooks to Cooks released a new instructional cooking video. teaching your family how to prepare a different lunch item every weekday (Monday to Friday). There are currently 10 Videos on our YouTube channel. Be sure to Check them out with your family!

Videos are easy to follow along and feature recipes that are not only nutritious and delicious but also utilize ingredients commonly found in the pantry. The Recipes were created to welcome substitutions in case not all ingredients are on hand.

All Videos will be posted for free so you can refer to them anytime. Full RECIPES and Ingredients List are available on their BLOG

Character Development:

  • Responsibility: Through cooking, children learn new skills in the kitchen that enable them to help the family with meal planning, preparation, and clean-up. Spend time together in the kitchen and assign kid-friendly tasks, then kids feel responsible and important part of the family dynamic and meal preparation.
  • Creativity: Kids can express their creativity through recipe development and food presentation. They can get creative with their family when selecting recipes and ingredients. This could be something as simple as deciding what ingredients to add into a salad, or decorating a cupcake.
