Removing barriers to education, Park Street Education’s unique program provides accessible after-school programming to underserved kids. Partnering with school boards across Canada, their virtual tutoring services help address gaps in education for certain youth, helping kids have more success in school. When kids feel confident and can understand what they are learning with help from educators who can give them the time, they start to love learning again. Educators are enthusiastic and translate that enthusiasm to the kids. Park Street Education is a non-profit, and it is said their program can be life changing. In small groups, kids get customized programs that best suit how they learn and what they need. Empathy is one of their most important values, so kids are understood and their struggles are addressed. What’s great about Park Street Education is that no kid—no matter their family income, education background, where they live, learning style, etc.---will be left behind.
