    About Panda Mandarin Language Programs

    Panda Mandarin Language Programs is committed to creating a world of connections through learning that is FUN, ENGAGING, and AUTHENTIC for all students, no matter what age or skill level. We offer a variety of Mandarin classes for children both virtually and in-person. We are a Toronto-based company with locations in Midtown Toronto and Etobicoke/Mississauga, and our teachers are trained with a focus on the needs of North American students.

    Our programs are highly interactive through storytelling, music, games, and art but also with a strong focus on practical applications of Mandarin. Our students are well supported by a highly qualified teaching team as well as modern content & tools to help them keep engaged outside the classroom.

    COVID-19 Response 

    Panda Mandarin is back to full in-person classes at our recently renovated location in the Yonge & Lawrence area, easily accessible via transit & car. This location has a fully updated interior and HVAC system to ensure a clean & bright space. Along with the use of multiple air purifiers, this ensures sufficient clean air is kept circulating. We also have available hand sanitizing stations and sanitizing wipes are used regularly in the space to ensure a clean and safe environment.

    Our school is a mask-friendly place and children and parents are welcome to wear masks based on their individual risk tolerances. We will follow local public health guidelines and continually revisit our procedures.

    Director's Message

    Yollanda Zhang, Director & Co-owner
    BASc, B.Ed, OCT

    Hi, I’m Yollanda, the Director and Founder of Panda Mandarin Language Programs. I founded Panda Mandarin because I wanted to have a way for our daughter to keep up her ability to speak Mandarin in a fun and engaging way and stay connect to my family. We are not your typical language school. We offer small class sizes that focus on practical Mandarin learning using songs, games, dance, art, and STEM. Our in-person and virtual classes offer different ways of reaching our students and supporting them where they are, all while maintaining the same quality and fun our students expect. We also support our parents outside the classroom using technologies to help students learn and practice at home.

     

    We are so proud of the hundreds of students we’ve had the pleasure of teaching. We are also proud of the our teachers for their commitment and dedication to our students during this difficult pandemic. Come for a trial class to see how we can help your child experience the fun and magic of Mandarin language learning!
