The Grade 6 Foundations of Youth Leadership at OELC is offered to Grade 6 students who are looking to learn more about the process of leading. They might already have a natural ability to influence others or show interest in leading others, but they are also keen to learn more about themselves as a leader through a variety of hands on and engaging activities.Foundations of Youth Leadership is about discovering oneself at an entry point to life-long leadership. It focuses on exploring the various forms that leadership takes. Experiential workshops and activities emphasize that each individual has the capacity to lead using their own unique abilities.
Leadership development will occur in group sessions, workshops and a variety of outdoor activities.
