Who are you as an organization?
At Little Kitchen Academy, your child can choose from weekly 3-hour classes (once a week) or 5 consecutive days during Summer, Winter & Spring breaks (camps). They will learn how to make healthy, delicious, and seasonal meals from scratch to consumption—all while experimenting with math and science concepts, working on their reading skills, and polishing up their table manners.

The Our Kids review of Little Kitchen Academy - Oakville South

Knowing how to cook is a life skill that everyone needs. At Little Kitchen Academy anyone can be a chef. Classes are three hours long or over five days on breaks, so the lessons are quite comprehensive. Kids learn to make a meal right from scratch and then get to enjoy the products of their making. Cooking isn’t all they learn though, as there are some inherent skills that are taught while kids experiment in the kitchen. Math, science, reading, are important concepts in cooking. Kids won’t put their elbows on the table here, as table manners are expected. What’s unique about this course is that it isn’t your typical cooking lessons. It is a cooking academy, inspired by the Montessori style of learning. Kids wear chef’s uniforms and the facilities are vast, spotless, and practical. Kids feel empowered to create new dishes, while learning the techniques to do so.
