Reviews & Testimonials

  • March Break Camp - Acquire an introduction to robotics and programming!
    Chris Naidoo — Parent

I wish to express my appreciation to the instructors for the well run March break program. My son acquired a new sense of introduction into the world of robotics, programming, and investigative techniques – and thoroughly enjoyed the training, guidance, and class atmosphere (which was always positive and welcoming – for this, I wish to extend a big thank you to the instructor). My son looks forward to his next class with Kidzwhiz.

Thank you to the instructors for an exciting week - the kids were always excited to get to camp in the morning and had plenty to say at pick up time in the afternoon. Their knowledge expanded and they had a blast - you did your job superbly.

  • March Break Camp - Great memories and a fantastic time!
    Kim — Parent

When I dropped my son (Bradley) off for the first day of Kidzwhiz camp at Markham Heritage, he had the dreaded "first-day look of fear" on his face. There were 3 coaches in the room (Josh, Carmen and Peter) and 4 other kids. I drove to work feeling the usual mother's worry of "is my kid going to have fun today?" Fast forward to the end of the day ... I enter the building to the sound of laughter and chatter. Bradley was super excited to show me the game that he had programmed that day. The following day, Bradley had his shoes and coat on and was standing at the front door telling me to "hurry up! we don't want to be late for camp!" Throughout the week, the coaches were always asking the parents to come in and see what their child had done that day. Bradley was full of details about how much fun he had each day, as opposed to his usual response of "my day was fine, I didn't do anything". On the last day of camp, the kids were watching a slideshow of photos that the coaches had put together of their time over the week. It was nice to see pictures of the kids at work on their designs - and at play during the stretch period each day. This slideshow, along with the programs that the kids created were emailed to us the week following the class. What a great memory for them to have! Overall, my son had a fantastic time and has already asked if he can go back to the summer camp offerings this year.
