Course follow- up

I just wanted to send a quick email about my experience in the JRR course that my two children took on Sunday

I worked as an instructor teaching police officers to ride motorcycles (right from never sitting on a motorcycle right through to escorting heads of state).  With this experience and level of training (master instructor ) I was a little reserved as to what benefit they might gain from this program.

All I can say is WOW I was pleasantly surprised!  The instructors showed a level of enthusiasm and commitment far exceeding what I see from professionals in my field.  Not once did I see a group of instructors off chatting, or cell phones come out for a quick text.  If a child struggled for even a moment there seemed to be an instructor there almost instantly to coach them through it.  They were able to teach one of the hardest groups (6yr+) with their short attention span and goofy personalities a skill that requires focus in a very safe and fun manner.

Being in the field that I am in, sometimes we can be a bit jaded and critical  of what we expect of people.   I just want to ensure Honda Canada realizes how proud they should be of the young instructors they have teaching this program, and the positive effect it is having on the next generation of riders.

Positive Experience

What an amazing day! My boy couldn't have been happier with the instructors. they were patient, kind, and spoke to the kids in a way that they 'got it'. What a positive experience

Aaron's Experience

I just wanted to say that my son Aaron had a fantastic time. He is still talking about it, telling anyone who will listen about the three steps to starting a dirt bike... you and Adam really made a lasting impression on him- thank you. Aaron has had a love for motorcycles and dirt bikes since he could walk. He's definitely interested in dirt biking; I have never seen him focus for 3 hours on one thing like he did with you and Adam. Again, thank you for being so patient with him and having the event on the 25th.
