In this program, designed for youth in Grades 5-8, you will explore different types of scientific and engineering skills that are important to space exploration. We will introduce basic science concepts that provide context to the engineering challenges. Participants will work on one common challenge during the week and present at the end of the program! Content and topics introduced match Ontario curriculum themes at each grade level. Sessions run daily weekday , with time included to answer questions. Special event on March 14th, where we invite members from the space community to interact with campers in our annual Space Symposium event.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Curiosity: Students' curiosity will be encouraged in exploring STEAM and space themes.
  • Creativity: Students will showcase their creativity in their final designs.
