Sport & Action Camp: Capturing Action Too Fast For The Eye To See

Life moves quickly and any successful sports photographer needs the skills to keep up. In this action packed camp, teens will learn how to capture fast moving subjects in unpredictable environments. This camp will make sure that campers don’t miss the moment by providing them with lots of opportunity to practice at various sporting events around the city. We’ll learn all about sports photography and how to capture those captivating moments of triumph, excitement and even heart break.

Topics Covered:

  • Critical camera techniques for sports photography: Burst mode / Continuous shooting / focus modes
  • Lighting: How to handle arena lighting vs. outdoor sporting events
  • Practice exciting shooting techniques like panning and zooming
  • Exciting daily shooting opportunities, some examples may include; Parkour park, professional sporting events (baseball game / team practice for Blue Jays / Raptors / Toronto FC), skate parks, karate or dance studio.
