Kids can sculpt with clay, draw, paint, and more in our multimedia summer camps! Campers are encouraged to embrace their creativity, using a wide range of materials to explore weekly themes. Each camp is taught by one of our experienced artist-educators, who will guide campers through the Museum’s permanent galleries to get inspired by the incredible objects on display.
Dessert Islands:
Campers will experiment with a variety of media to re-create and re-imagine sweet and savoury treats.
Dates: July 4 - 8 & August 2 - 5
Imagining Futures:
Taking inspiration from science fiction, campers will explore the history of the area around the Gardiner Museum and use their imaginations to envision what it could look like years from now.
Dates: July 11 - 15 & August 8 - 12
Nature and Us:
How do we interact with the living creatures and plants around us? Campers will creatively explore our collective relationship with the environment and how we can nurture that connection.
Dates: July 18 - 22: Nature and Us &
Monster Clash:
Taking inspiration from art, movies, TV, and comic books, campers will build, draw, and paint all kinds of incredible creatures. Then, they’ll work together to imagine stories that bring their monsters to life.
