Character Development:

  • Resilience: Overnight camp can be challenging, and often a child's first excursion away from home and family. We recognize this and through extensive staff training and attention to our programming we set children up to thrive in this new environment and realize the capacity they have for resilience.
  • Interpersonal skills: Friendship is important. Last year has reminded us of that. With indicators of mental health in young people looking bleak we feel camp can play a pivotal role in allowing children to transition back to being a part of a lifegiving network!
