Proof of or declaration of vaccination status at drop-off at the beginning of the program is currently required.
Wearing a mask indoors will be required when not actively eating or drinking. Many of our staff and people on campus will undoubtedly continue to wear them outdoors and during activities.
Medical/procedural masks may also be required in some labs and learning settings, and students will be given appropriate notice and have those masks provided to them.
Many of our COVID-19 procedures remain in place:
- Students showing any symptoms of illness before arrival are asked to stay home.
- Students experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 during their program will be asked to isolate in their residence rooms, and parents will be called to arrange pick-up.
Our team has a committed responsibility to the safety of your children when they are with us at Queen's. We will continue to act with our participants' safety and security as our top priority within our updated policy framework.
The provincial self-assessment currently remains an excellent resource for deciding whether someone should self-isolate or not.

My current career is a direct result of the mini enrichment experience I indulged in SEEDS at Queens University one decade ago.
I love the opportunity Queens gives me to expand my horizons and better understand myself and where I want to go after high school. EMC has really helped to quell my fears of tackling post-secondary education, and I find myself looking forward to my university life more than ever
