Character Development:

  • Curiosity: One of our main goals at Eco Camp is to encourage children to explore their natural curiosity about nature - "Go ahead and flip over that rock and see what lives there!!" (But then put the rock back of course!
  • Courage: At Eco camp children will be gently directed to try new things (ride a bike on a dirt or gravel path, take a fish off of a hook, stern the canoe, go find mapping markers in a new section of the forest) when it is both individually, and age appropriate.
