This course will teach students how to be a production artist. Students will use art production tools Toon Boom Harmony and Adobe Photoshop to create production-ready assets and learn the ins and outs of being on the front lines of a production studio. They'll acquire the skills needed to become not only pros with the software but pros in the industry.

2D Animation Production will give prospective animators and illustrators the first-hand experience of being a production artist. Through the use of professional production tools like Toon Boom Harmony and Photoshop; students will go beyond simply creating art as a hobby and learn how to create art for a career.

Students will build a repertoire of production-ready assets like characters, backgrounds, and props that can be used as a high-level portfolio piece. Students will learn the important tools like X-Sheets, Node Viewers, character rigging and camera controls to be an effective production artist. Turn your passion for cartoons and illustrations into a career with 2D Animation Production.

Students in this course will receive a free one year license for Adobe Creative Cloud!
