Artificial Intelligence and automation is expected to replace nearly half of all jobs that are currently done by 16-24-year-olds. Get ahead of this trend by learning how the machines that will do those jobs work!

In this course, we’ll take a closer look at machine learning tools like the leading development language for AI Python, and use them to do amazing things. Teach a computer to play your favorite game, create interactive simulations, or train it to find patterns a human could not see. Using programming and mastery of algorithms, find uses for computers that you never thought possible!

Week 1, Intro to Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning with Python: At the beginning of the first week, students will work to understand the basics of how machine learning and AI work, affects our world, and start making their own machine learning-powered projects with block-based programming. As the course progresses, students will master the basics of programming in python, creating machine learning projects like chatbots, predictive models, and bots that learn to play games.

Week 2, Applied Data Science & Artificial Intelligence with Python: At the beginning of the second week, students will explore ways that AI is applied to data, tools, and how services, and how they can apply AI to their own projects. By the end of the week, students will dive in the theory and math of machine learning, and solve data problems using those skills and strategies.

  • An implemented Neural Net for solving a challenge
  • An Image classifier on a category of their choice
  • An AI to let you play games with webcam video
  • Visualizations and insights from interesting data
  • Additional artificial intelligence projects
