2D Animation Production & Character Development

Learn and use art production tools use by the professionals like Toon Boom Harmony and Photoshop to create production ready assets and learn the ins and outs of being on the front lines of a production studio. They'll acquire the skills needed to become not only pros in the software, but pros in the industry.

In this course, students will learn to turn their passion for cartoons and illustrations into a career with 2D animation production! This course will teach students how to be a production artist. Students will use art production tools Toon Boom Harmony and Adobe Photoshop to create production-ready assets and learn the ins and outs of being on the front lines of a production studio. 

Students will build a repertoire of production-ready assets like characters, backgrounds, and props that can be used as a high-level portfolio piece. They’ll acquire the skills needed to become not only pros with the software but pros in the animation industry.

IMPORTANT: This course is Part 2 of the DMA "Illustration & Animation Academy" - We strongly encourage students to take Part 1, "Intro to 2D Animation & Digital Illustration" prior to this course.
