Transform your child's love for technology into an exciting learning adventure. Guided by our team of Code Senseis, Code Ninjas Camps empower kids to gain valuable tech skills and make new friends. It's an unforgettably fun learning experience!
Day camp contains 2 camps: (1) Makers With Microcontrollers (AM) and (2) 3D Design and Print (PM)
Makers With Microcontrollers
Ninjas will explore the exciting world of physical computing with a microcontroller called micro:bit. This tiny computer makes it possible for Ninjas to design a variety of interactive projects, such as a wearable pedometer, digital pet, a multiplayer game, and more. They will learn how to harness the power of code, sensors, sound and more. Throughout the week, Ninjas become makers, coders, and game designers while learning from the process of iteration, reflection, and feedback.
3D Design and Print
Ninjas will explore 3D modeling and printing using Tinkercad. They will code their own custom models, including working bubble wands, keychains, and more! Along the way, they will learn tips, techniques, and best practices for exciting explorations in 3D modeling and printing.
Character Development: This program helps build the following traits
Curiosity: This camp will support the campers' love for learning about physical computing using microcontrollers! Campers will experience 3D printing and are given a chance to develop their passion towards this field.
Creativity: Campers will use their creativity to program micro:bits into projects, such as a digital pet, multiplayer game, wearable tech, and more! Campers will use creativity to design and build their 3D sculptures.
