Reviews & Testimonials

  • Fortunate enough to take classes at C.A.T.S.
    David Klein — Camp alumni

“Having been fortunate enough to take classes at C.A.T.S. in my youth, I have learned invaluable skills in the areas of self-confidence, self-discipline, teamwork, and long-term commitment. The school provides the ideal environment for personal growth and development, while also nurturing and arousing the hidden artistic talents within us. C.A.T.S. inspired me to challenge myself intellectually, creatively, and emotionally, giving me the foundation for all that I have accomplished in my performing life so far and for all that I have yet to achieve.”

  • Children’s Arts Theatre School has provided so many valuable opportunities
    Paul Aikins — Parent

“Children’s Arts Theatre School has provided so many valuable opportunities to students of Etobicoke School of the Arts. The extra training as triple threat artists has enhanced many students talents in our Music Theatre program. The invaluable experience these young artists receive outside of the school has helped them shine on the stage, created many lasting friendships and forged a great professional relationship with ESA and Children’s Arts Theatre School. We share many of the same professional guest artists, and share the same goals about educating the youth of tomorrow’s Broadway stage.” - Paul Aikins, Head of Musical Theatre at Etobicoke School of the Arts

  • My kids favourite camp!!
    Karin Miller — Parent

“Just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with the camp. It is now my kids favourite camp and they are already asking to do it again next year. I was so impressed with the performance! What a treat to watch it outside on the lawn! Thanks so much for running such an amazing camp!”

  • WHAT MAKES CATS DRAMA CAMP SO UNIQUE?
    Gina Anki — Parent

CATS Drama Camp, now in its 24th season, continues to deliver students of all ages with the ultimate in theatrical training and performance quality in just two short weeks of drama camp. Parents often ask us...how do we do it? It is simple really, says Anki, Founder and Artistic Director of Children's Arts Theatre School. If anyone understands how to put on a show it is our staff! Many of whom have been former students of CATS camp, remember how important it is to create a fun, upbeat, engaging theatre arts camp that has something special and unique for each student. Whether it is theatre, dance, vocals or visual arts, we strive to encourage everyone to try something new, to challenge themselves in all sectors of the performing arts, to meet new people and most importantly, to have FUN! We have been very fortunate, in that many of our campers return year after year, with the anticipation of what the summer show will be! Complete with costumes, make up, lights and sound, this season we are delighted to produce an adaptation of Shrek the Musical. Included in the two week drama camp we also offer free extended hours and two healthy snacks prepared daily. For more information on how to register please visit us at www.catsdrama.com.
