This session begins at the end of the first week of camp. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in two full weeks of instructional activities and also to go on a 3-day, 5-day or 7-day canoe trip, depending on their age and experience. Campers will also be able to participate in our end of session activities – primal or voyageur games, canoe races, banquet and final council ring.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Independence: Campers have the opportunity to make choices as to how they spend their day - choosing their instruction activities, how they spend their free swim and whether they go on a canoe trip or not.
  • Courage: Campers are encouraged to take on new challenges, maybe to set out on a canoe trip, even though they have never had such an experience.
