This Leader-in-Training session for 16-year olds includes lifesaving, wilderness first aid and canoe certification; an 8-day canoe trip; leadership training and opportunities; counsellor training; and a solo experience.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Responsibility: The LIT program helps develop the skills and responsibility required to work on staff at camp.
  • Interpersonal skills: The program teaches about various styles of leadership and then provides campers with practical experiences requiring leadership.
