As a first time sleep-away camp parent we had some reservations with sending our daughter but because we knew she was ready for this challenge to overcome the fear of being away from home combined with all of the wonderful reviews from other families.... we were quickly able to make the decision to send our girl. We made the absolute right decision!! The simplistic registration and the tuned in Director/Owner personally helped us through the entire process made all the difference for us. From the first time I was told about Camp Dreamwood..I felt very comfortable with my decision! I have yet to see a less then favourable review from anyone. I was a first time overnight camper Mom and had at least 300 questions! Ashley answered each and everyone of them. I loved the parents meetings and the kids meetings before we left and during this stressful COVID-19, my camper didn't even care about the "nose picker tests"..the PCR testing was an exciting event! The buses are beautiful and we were updated on their arrival ❤ We were updated daily with videos and messages! The kids were always busy with programming available always even during free time! I was so glad my girls were able to spend a week at dreamwood their new camp home. This was exactly what they needed to feel normal again. They made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. I knew I’d hear lots of stories but I was floored with all the absolute amazing activities and experiences I heard about upon their return m. I especially loved seeing the daily recap videos. Where do you begin to start to describe a camp, counsellors and an owner that all mean so much. Camp Dreamwood isn't any ordinary camp but one that makes everyone feel welcome. Jenson is a changed boy. His camp experience has been nothing less than life changing. He has found a place he can fit and grow and feel safe. Memories For A Lifetime

Our children made memories for a lifetime. We saw them do things we thought they’d never do. Our normally reserved child, acting out drama in front of a crowd! Our fearful child, conquering the high ropes! They made friends, they let go of their worries and just got plain dirty having fun in nature. It was the best two weeks of their lives. We are so incredibly thankful we discovered Dreamwood and for all the hard work and care that Dreamwood staff put into their programming. My daughter, Brittany, has been enjoying Camp Dreamwood for three summers. She was quite reluctant the first year at camp but with encouragement she tried new games like rock climbing, high ropes, archery etc. She proudly talks about her new adventures and achievements throughout the year. At her get- togethers with her friends they discuss and plan what they will do at the next years talent show and what they liked best about the last camp.
