This course broadens students' understanding of mathematics as it relates to managing data. Students will apply methods for organizing large amounts of information, solve problems involving probability and statistics, and carry out a culminating project that integrates statistical concepts and skills. Throughout this course, students will also refine their mathematical communication skills.
Prerequisite MCR3U or MCF3M.
Classes start at 8:00am and finish at 2:45pm, Monday to Friday. Credit course fee includes daily lunch and use of a notebook computer (if required) during the course. Boarding fee includes tuition, residential accommodation, 3 meals daily plus healthy snacks, airport transfers, supervision, medical insurance, excursions and transportation while in Canada.
