How much do camps charge per session?

There is quite a range in cost, but a week of day camp averages a little over $200 and a two-week stay at overnight camp averages $1,000 or more. Typically, the longer the stay, the lower the weekly cost.

Don't forget that most camps will have a "Campership" available for some families who cannot afford camp. There are also other charity groups (Such at Amici in Ontario and OneHappyCamper.org) that may also help with the cost of camp.

Religious or Agency camps (YMCA, etc) usually have the lowest rates, often because they are subsidized by their supporting agencies.
