A residential camp is a home away from home. Children live at camp for anywhere from one to several weeks or longer. Campers benefit from rooming with kids their age under the supervision of older counsellors, either in cabins or in tents. Facilities can offer a range of recreational and art activities as in traditional camps or focus on one area, such as horseback riding or hockey. Some camps offer a combination of programs.
