When should I start looking for a camp?

    Is this helpfull?
Many summer camps are booked up by late spring, so the earlier in the year you start, the better. (Besides, what could be better than planning an exciting summer of fun in the middle of our Canadian winter!) You want to give yourself enough time to collect information, talk with camp representatives, attend any information sessions and then get your application in to the camp of your choice.

Find more information on when and how to choose a camp in our Choosing a Camp and Step-by-Step guides.

anytime. though it's definately an advantage to tour a camp while their summer camp is running. Note = some camps fill by late winter/early spring. Good luck = I'm happy to talk with anyone about specific questions, needs. etc... www.campspeersymca.org

We always ask parents to keep in mind that if you want to visit the camp, it's best to go the year before you want to register your child. But if that chance slips by, register your child anyway then aim for a visit before your child's session starts. If you call ahead camp directors will always make time to show around a new family.
